As an experienced graphic designer with a talent for brand development Sandra Wiggers has worked on projects for many of the top brands within the Netherlands. She is never happier than when she can loose herself in creating and developing new concepts, either for her clients or her own enjoyment such as building her own home from scratch.
As an experienced graphic designer with a talent for brand development Sandra Wiggers has worked on projects for many of the top brands within the Netherlands. She is never happier than when she can loose herself in creating and developing new concepts, either for her clients or her own enjoyment such as building her own home from scratch.
While designing the interior of her new home Sandra hit upon the idea of combing her love of fabrics with graphic design to create wonderful products inspired by her interests and hobbies, such as snowboarding and running.
The result: Pillah, an exclusive feel good line of domestic goodies, starting with designer cushions. Each cushion is lovingly designed combining Sandra’s sense of colour and form to great effect. Drawing upon her sporting interests Sandra successfully blends unusual fabrics such as fleece, nylon and even neoprene into her designs.
Pillah was founded in 2010 and has become synonymous with unique handmade contemporary designs that are appealing, unexpected and very, very comfortable. Pillah cushions are made from combinations of beautiful tactile fabrics with simple colours that are as wonderful to look at, as they are to touch.
