E pensare che proprio la stessa Donatella Versace nel 2008 ha rifiutato l’offerta della catena H&M di realizzare per loro una collezione low cost con il suo nome.
Con un intervista al New York Times, la stilista aveva così argomentato la sua decisione: “Rispetto chiunque lo faccia, ma il motivo per cui io ho scelto di non farlo è che lavoro così duramente per portare il nome Versace nel segmento più alto del lusso. Creare una linea con H&M potrebbe creare confusione sul brand“.
