For the first time, an international designer (Vivienne Westwood) and an international fashion magazines (Marie Claire) have joined forces to launch an interesting project for global awareness of deforestation and to influence the trend of recycling clothes.
Vivienne Westwood has designed a dress T-shirt limited edition exclusively for readers of Marie Claire international. In addition, any fashionista who will buy this dress eco-friendly T-shirt will be good, as all proceeds from the sale of T-shirt dress will support the tribes of the forests of Bangladesh, whose lives and livelihoods have been threatened by deforestation.
This collaboration will combine the sale of T-shirt dress with a special editorial section of the Rainforest (Guest Editor, Vivienne Westwood), which will be published in 24 editions of Marie Claire in May 2011.
